YOG Training/Validation Week

One entire week of our June holidays was dedicated to our duty at Marina Barrage, where Singapore will conduct the Canoe/Kayak races for the Youth Olympic Games AKA YOG. Most of the canoeists, including the secondary ones, were involved in this major event, as volunteers of course. The secondary three canoeists, as well as several rugby and track & field boys who were also helping out, were selected to be starters, the person who assists in starting the race.
