Boat waxing day

On Fri, the canoeing team went down to macritchie to wax our boats. I thought it would be fun, but it turned out to be a very tiring, boring, and tense day. In the morning, we had a picnic at macritchie. Sort of, because my bro and I bought food and brought it there for brekfast. Ryan, Reuven and Xin Yang joined us shortly.

After that, we started cleaning our boats when everyone started to come. We had to wash our boats with soap, scrub the mouldy, grimy seats, and remove the year-old mud stuck on the insides of the kayak or canoe. It was a disgusting job, but it was our own boats, so we did it without hesitation. After letting the boats dry, we had to wax the boats. The procedure was simple, apply one layer of wax first, buff it, then repeat one more time. However, it was really difficult to concentrate due to the sun's heat. But our efforts paid off after looking at our shiny boats which looked good as new.

After the exhausting work however, mini-Nick had a quarrel with Reuven, and David had a quarrel with Daryl. Guys, though we may have our differences, we musty set them aside in order to work as a team. We must not let the team fall apart after this small incident, so patch up, and lets work together to win the C div title only 2 days away! A quote from Benjamin, yes the sec 2 one, " It takes two hands to clap " This refers to the teamwork that we need to win that title, but not about the quarrel that has started. So lets do this like a team!
