The Monkeys Stirke Back

It was a typical Thursday afternoon. It was Yang Zhi's birthday, but none of us actually knew about it. So Yang Zhi had bought a small chocolate swiss roll for himself to enjoy. Little did he know that the cake was going to be stolen by a group of small hairy creatures. After training, James and I had discovered a over-turned dustbin at the K2 shed, and nearby were some cute little baby monkeys. Returning to the stone ledge, I had found my hard, "All's Well" waterchestnut bottle on the ground, with a hole ripped in it. This was the sign that THEY were coming... Several adult monkeys were wandering around the stone ledge, probably looking for food. That was when Yang Zhi made the most terrible mistake. He took his cake out. The monkeys started hissing at Yang Zhi and one even attacked him, pouncing at him and almost scractched him. While trying to avoid letting the monkey snatch his cake, he spun around too fast, and dropped it. All the monkeys dashed forward for the cake. It was like a food paradise. In the end, Yang Zhi lost his cake to the monkeys, but Daryl, the oh so kind Daryl, bought Yang Zhi a real cake the next day. Happy Birthday Yang Zhi!
